I made this when I was aged 19 ABOUT ME For 13 years from 1987 I worked as a freelance journalist on film and video-making magazines. I wrote many hundreds of practical how-to-do-it features, equipment and software reviews and monthly columns. Plus I supplied thousands of photographs. I contributed to Camcorder User, Video Camera, Camera & Camcorder Monthly, Digital Photography User, What Camcorder and others. For a while I was full-time Features Editor on Video Camera at IPC Magazines in London. Thoughout the 1990's I devised and ran dozens of courses in camcorder techniques and video production and appeared at workshops at events at London Earl's Court and Olympia. Also at GMex in Manchester. Since 2000 I have concentrated my efforts online, cutting out the publishers. Skills: photography, video direction, camera and editing, online video, web design & graphics, writing. I have appeared on BBC CountryFile, Channel Four News and BBC Radio 4 Scotland. Currently I am based in Manchester city centre.
