If you've read the history, you'll see that the family in Britain last heard from the American branch of the family in 1882, when Robert Stafford's daughter crossed the Atlantic and visited Northumberland, England.
It is quite possible there are no relatives in the United States now. There are certainly thousands of 'Staffords'. We have put up this site in the hope that someone may find it and connect our story with something in their own family history.
